Hiap Huat Chemicals & Industrials Company (HHCIC) started its first operations in the Powder Coating Industries in 1977 when Singapore was heavily dependent on an entrepot trade. Being a pioneer in the then new Powder Coating technology, HHCIC leveraged her resources in the manufacturing and trading sectors of automobiles, electronics and furniture. HHCIC also seized the opportunity of venturing into the textile & printing industries.

Today, in an ever progressing economy, HHCIC has shifted her operations with the developments of Singapore and her customers. Now HHCIC has broadened her products and services as a provider to customers and users in sectors like hardware to applied materials, medical to pharmaceutical, automotive to aerospace and marine, and continue her presence with the automobile and furniture sectors.

Our History

Hiap Huat Chemicals & Industrials Company (HHCIC) began her humble beginnings in a simple paint shop with her sister company, Hiap Huat Paints Company (HHPC) which was inauguated in 1973. Over the years, though each entity has her own role and presence in the industry, HHCIC and HHPC have synergized to venture into industrial products and explored overseas market. A branch office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, under the name of Chengdu Enterprise Sdn Bhd, was jointly setup to meet the needs of our customers in Malaysia.
